Brushes
Synthetic and bristle brushes: at a min. two ¾”, two ½” and two ¼” square head flat.
Palette knife
Two small palette knives for mixing paints and painting
Paints
Naples yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Umber, Burnt sienna, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Turquoise Light, Viridian, black and Titanium White, and etc.
Medium
Linseed oil, or walnut oil. Choose one.
Gamsol or other odorless mineral spirit – we will use very little.
Palette
No specific requirement. I use a piece of glass placed in a plastic box. You can also use a disposable one-time-use paper palette.
Painting surfaces
11” x 14” or 12" x 16" Primed and stretched canvas or canvas panels.
