Ruth McGregor
A native of North Carolina and recipient of a Gold Key art award, Ruth lives in Apex, North Carolina. She creates jewelry in precious metals and enjoys the simple beauty of line and form that precious metal wire brings to her work. Ruth has also worked in abstract oil media, basketry, photography, Amish quilting and soapstone sculpture. One of her accomplishments is writing and illustrating a small book of poetry sold in shops in Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle, North Carolina.
Ruth’s work is currently in private collections in North Carolina and Delaware and in galleries in Cary, Carrboro, and Raleigh, North Carolina.
