Fall 2021 Weekly Watercolor Painting with JJ
Tuesdays: 09/14, 09/21, 09/28, 10/5, 10/12 & 10/19
10 am to 1 pm
Instructor: JJ Jiang
Cost: $275 for six sessions
Venue: The Village Art Circle Studio & Gallery
Level: Advanced beginner to advanced
Min: 8 people; Max: 14 people
Starting from this September 14, JJ will resume offering his popular weekly watercolor painting classes in an artistically stimulating environment and friendly atmosphere. During each session, JJ will share his thinking process with participants and demonstrate the methods and techniques for each painting exercise. This fall JJ will have more of a focus on landscape painting (though not exclusively so). Photographs will be used for painting reference and inspiration. He will also work with participants individually, and will offer a brief critique at the end of each session if time allows. JJ encourages participants to sign up for more than a single season when available, since the classes will be conducted in such a manner that exercises will not be repeated, nor is instruction rigid. While JJ adheres to fundamental principles throughout instruction, all else is fluid. One additional benefit of registering for more than one season is to potentially build a camaraderie and gain support from fellow artists in our community.
How to register (by registering for this class, the participant agrees to all policies listed below):
A check of $75 for the nonrefundable deposit or $275 for the full amount made out to Village Art Circle, may be dropped off or mailed to: 200 S Academy St., Suite 130, Cary, NC 27511 to hold a place.
For credit card payment at the gallery, a service fee of $8 will be added to the total amount.
Full payment is due by August 14.
There is $75 non-refundable fee charged if one decides to cancel the registration at anytime. Cancellation with less than ten day's notice results in no refund for the entire cost of the class unless a replacement participant is found.
